BIRD-WATCHING TRIP TO
Carambolim Lake
Darter (Snake bird) and Little cormorant


Today we went to Carambolim lake. We saw many water birds. One uncle showed us many birds. We even saw a crocodile staring at us! We saw a Darter or snake bird drying its wings. We saw two Barred jungle owlets ( endangered species) sitting on a tree. We also saw a little Cormoant. There was an injured Black kite. We saw Gry herons and Large  egrets. We saw a Purple moor hen and a family of Lesser whistling teal with 9 chicks.
